“Hablon” – taken from Hiligaynon word “habol” meaning “to weave” refers to both the process of making the fabric and the finished products. Century old industry of loom-weaving passed thru generations. This polycotton hablon blouse fabric is handwoven with love by our women weavers from Iloilo, Philippines.
Weaving Culture unites people and communities by living tradition thru their colorful weaves. We will always take pride in promoting our hablon here in the United States and to the world. Supporting their livelihood and tradition is our way of lifting women and helping our community.
Our Agnes blouse named after one of the filpino artists “Agnes Arellano” who is a Philippine sculptor known for her surrealistic sculptural groupings. Colorful weaves of gray, pink and white is just a beautiful way of showing off our filipino culture in a fashionable way. Our fabrics are so beautiful not only loved by filipinos but will surely be loved by other cultures as well. Designed by fashion designer in the Philippines, the touch of modern fashion in our traditional weaves make it suitable to our millenials and in this modern world.
